Letter of Recommendation for Joy Cayton

For consideration of Joy Cayton:

As expectant new parents we didn't know what our true needs would be when the twins arrived, yet we knew we would need help. In the search for that help, we had a certain amount of anxiety about having a stranger in our home during this potentially stressful yet wonderful time. When we first spoke by phone with Joy Cayton from our hospital room, she came across as a very sweet, gentle person. She was flexible and willing to fit us into her schedule.

After arriving home with our babies we interviewed Joy in person. She again demonstrated her tender nature, however we also saw the professionalism and confidence she brings to her work with babies and new mothers. It has become clear that Joy loves her work, and her professional demeanor, gentle nature and willingness to ask questions about how we want things done has brought us great comfort.

We decided to enlist Joy's help for 3 months, 3 times a week. She has always been on time and walked though our front door with a wonderfully cheerful presence.Joy comes prepared to engage in the care of the babies giving her full attention to them and all their needs. She knows just how to comfort and care for them, yet allows us to define the manner and nature of their care. She's a tremendous help and support for us and has been key in making this time of being new parents of twins more enjoyable.

A word from the mom: After observing how Joy tends to our twins with such ease, I have developed a greater sense of "I CAN DO THIS" when I am alone with them. Joy takes on the challenge of "the twins" with such enthusiasm and creativity, which helps me get through each day by expanding my vision of how to care for them. I feel as though I've been truly touched by an Angel!

A word from the dad: Joy Cayton has been a godsend for our family. She arrives each morning cheerful, punctual and well dressed. She is a loving caregiver always ready to feed, coddle or change either baby as needed. She has a way of bringing confidence to the care of the babies without being overbearing. Joy is intelligent, a good conversationalist and fun for the babies and the parents. We have all benefited from her presence in our lives.
